What we didn't build

Every app description lists what's in. Here's what stayed out — on purpose, with the reasoning. Leaving things out is a decision too.

Verso is a tool, not a filing cabinet. A scan gets made and shared — where it's stored is your file system's job, not ours. Folder logic would be a second app inside the app.

A scanner should scan. A chatbot that “explains” your document is feature theatre — it costs battery, trust and clarity. If you need the text, export it.

The iOS share sheet already does this — for every app you use anyway. Bespoke integrations would be maintenance load and one more thing that can break.

Sounds useful, is niche. Every special mode blurs the core function. A good document scan covers it.

Would be a different product. We don't build a junk drawer just because it's technically possible.

Worth it, but only done right or not at all. Late and good beats early and muddy — it comes when auto-enhance carries it cleanly.
